Iran, Kuwait keen on media co-op

Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman and Kuwait’s deputy minister of information have exchanged views on ways to promote media cooperation.
Visiting Iranian official Mohammad-Ali Hosseini met with Sheikh Faisal Al-Malik on Wednesday to discuss ways to foster mutual cultural and print-media relations.Elaborating on the aim of his meeting, Hosseini added that he intends to prepare the necessary ground for enhancing reciprocal media cooperation with Kuwait. He described the exchange of media delegation as crucial, calling for media delegation trips between the two countries.
Sheikh Faisal Al-Malik, for his part stressed Kuwait’s willingness to develop media collaboration with Iran, specifying the removing of obstacles as the key objectives of the Kuwaiti government.
He also expressed Kuwait’s eagerness to see the media protocol of the two states materialized.
Hosseini, accompanied by Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki arrived in Kuwait on Tuesday to attend the Expanded Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Iraq’s Neighboring Countries.
